Büro Ole Scheeren
About
Ole Scheeren is a German architect and principal of Buro Ole Scheeren with offices in Hong Kong and Beijing. Educated at the universities of Karlsruhe and Lausanne, he graduated from the Architectural Association in London and was awarded the RIBA Silver Medal.
Eric Chang is Partner at Buro Ole Scheeren and has been collaborating on the design and management of numerous projects with Ole Scheeren over the past decade. Chang is an American with a Bachelor in Philosophy and Fine Arts and received his Master of Architecture from Yale University in 1995.
They engage in an exploration of strategies rather than implementation of predefined methods and matrixes. They believe that knowledge is as important as the ability to think things anew and differently.
