Multistudio is the evolution of Gould Evans. Our new identity captures the multiple ways we design to uncover possibilities and engage the world.
Since its founding in 1974, the studio has blossomed from a humble vision of two University of Kansas classmates into a socially-engaged design collective pushing the edge of service-based practice.
The studio's initial regional focus has spread into a vast root system that spans five studio locations, including Kansas City, Lawrence, New Orleans, Phoenix, and San Francisco. Embedding studios within these climates, geographies, histories, and cultures has energized our multifaceted approach to design.
We expand the practice of architecture, brand experience, city design, education design, and interiors to serve our client's and community's needs.
Diversity of thought, people, and practice areas enables us to explore place and spark economic, social, and environmental change. And although we take on a variety of projects, neither size nor type dictates their importance—their impact does.
